ULLAS was founded by Sanjay Pal, an inspiring IIT Roorkee graduate. It began its journey in 2006 with a heartfelt vision: to empower girls through education and create lasting change. Since then, our journey has been one of growth, compassion, and unwavering dedication to making the world a better place.
In 2008, driven by a passion for preserving our rich cultural heritage, we embarked on a project to build a cultural monument. This symbol of our commitment to tradition and art stands as a testament to our values.
By 2012, our mission expanded to holistic well-being with the creation of the Anand Prakash Yogashram in Rishikesh—a serene haven for spiritual and physical rejuvenation. That same year, we launched Sansar Gyan Pathsala, a school offering free education to underprivileged children from classes 1 to 8, ensuring that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the chance to learn and flourish.
In 2017-18, we introduced EkInch, a venture that quickly became India’s largest construction platform. This initiative not only created numerous job opportunities but also connected skilled workers with employers, bridging vital gaps in the industry.
As our vision grew, we formally became ULLAS in 2021, a charitable trust dedicated to enriching lives through education, cultural preservation, and environmental sustainability. ULLAS embodies our commitment to creating positive, transformative impacts in communities and beyond.
